Church of the Brethren
Church of the Brethren's Global Mission and Service in action

"That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us. So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”
—2 Corinthians 5:19-20

 Global Mission Prayer Guide
November 20, 2017

This week, we are full of prayers of gratitude:

For each leader and member of our international Church of the Brethren partner churches in Brazil, Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominican Republic, Haiti, India, Nigeria, Rwanda, Spain, and Venezuela.

For Global Mission workers who this year have represented Christ's peace and love in China, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, North Korea, South Sudan, Switzerland, and Vietnam.

For all of YOU, who invest your prayers, time, and finances to support the work of the global Church of the Brethren and who work to spread the word with your families, congregations, and districts.

In the midst of this gratitude, we are excited to invite you to Mission Alive 2018!

Last held in 2012, Mission Alive is the Church of the Brethren's conference focused on Global Mission. Under the theme of "A gathering of God's people…a global Church of the Brethren," the 2018 conference will provide the chance to further engage the philosophy and the reality of a global Church of the Brethren, including how your congregation and district can connect to the global community.

We remain so grateful for your prayers and look forward to seeing you in Frederick!
