Hilda Parada leads evening devotions

Hilda Parada, a Mennonite pastor in Chile, led one of the evening devotions. The devotion focused on tears, symbolized in Old Testament tradition by the mixing of salt and water. Participants were invited to come forward to put pinches of salt into a bowl of water, a way to bring to God the suffering and violence that had been witnessed to in the testimonies of that day.
