Irvin Heishman introduces the alternative tour of colonial sites

Irvin Heishman introduced the alternative tour of colonial sites in Santo Domingo. He is shown holding an alternative tour guide book titled "500 Years of Domination and Resistance," for which he wrote the introduction. The book offers tourists to the DR a chance to witness to the history of genocide and domination of local population and African slaves that began with Columbus' arrival on the island, and the history of resistance and work for human rights that began with the first Catholic Dominican friars.
